(United States).- Sportradar, the world’s leading supplier of sports betting, data and digital content solutions to businesses across the globe, has been confirmed as Event Sponsor of next month’s ICE Sports Betting USA. With a global reach across 30 countries, Sportradar is the official data provider of major US sports leagues, including the NBA, NFL, NHL and NASCAR, and is primed to be a key player in the post-PASPA betting market.

ICE Sports Betting USA to pave the way for US gaming evolution as Sportradar confirms backing of sold out conference

Explaining the decision to sponsor the conference in its inaugural year before it transitions to become ICE North America in May 2019, President of Sportradar US, Matteo Monteverdi said: “While we attend a number of industry events across the world, we want to be present at the best, and ICE is certainly one of these, and recognised as such on a global scale. We have been sponsoring ICE in London for several years, as one of the key events on our annual calendar, so seizing the opportunity to be a big part of ICE Sports Betting USA was obvious.”

“The ICE brand is already well established in Europe and, globally, is one of the sports and gaming industry’s must attend events,” he continued. “Bringing it over to the US now that betting has been legalized here is the right move and represents great timing. The event will certainly help in sharing important insights with participants about sports betting outside the US. As a global leader at the nexus of sport, betting and entertainment, providing end-to-end solutions to bookmakers, while serving leagues with data partnerships, we are a key thought leader in shaping the ecosystem of the new US betting economy.”

ICE Sports Betting USA heralds a new dawn for the gaming industry in North America with the event bringing together regulators, sports associations, land-based casino operators, online gaming brands and technology providers to discuss the future of the US betting landscape. Commenting on the show’s position and how Sportradar quantify the opportunities for the industry post PASPA, Monteverdi said: “There are different estimates out there, but in the end it all depends on the regulations that will be put in place. The US has a population of approximately 350 million people, and obviously with a number of sports like basketball, baseball, football, that are popular, it is a huge potential market, not just amongst US citizens, but sports fans worldwide. However, this potential can only be utilized if the legal framework allows the operators to do legitimate business in the US.”

“We are a global company so we are always looking at expanding into new markets,” he added. “With 24 offices across the world we are uniquely positioned to offer our combined expertise across leagues, media companies and federations specifically on what works and what doesn’t within the betting environment. We already have a number of relationships with major US leagues, and have spent a significant amount of time advising them, as well as regulators, on best practices in data procurement based on almost two decades of knowledge. ICE Sports Betting USA will therefore be a great opportunity for us to meet current and prospective clients to discuss not only the potential opportunities of the evolving US wagering market, but also, from an integrity perspective, advising them to help develop an ecosystem that is fair for players, fans and leagues alike.”

The Sportradar group employs over 2,000 people in more than 30 locations around the world and provides solutions and services across the sports and betting sectors. Their services include: fast and quality data combined with cutting-edge technologies; Sportradar Integrity Services, the world’s leading provider of anti-matchfixing detection, prevention, education and intelligence solutions; Sports Media, providing premium data, streaming and content solutions for broadcasters, digital publishers, fantasy sports operators, social networks, tech companies and sponsors, which comprises Sportradar OTT, combining video and data to support client’s commercial objectives; and, Betradar, the most trusted 360 degree betting offering powering licensed operators, no matter how big or small, across the world.

With this year’s ICE Sports Betting USA being sold out, Clarion Gaming has introduced a waiting list for delegates wanting to participate in ICE Sports Betting USA. This can be accessed at: sportsbettingusaconference.com/join-waiting-list
